Clark W Greene

Clark Greene, 90, 0f Scott Depot died Thursday, April 5, 2018 at home after a long illness.

He was a retired accountant at FMC and later did consulting work in Texas and Prince George, Canada. He was a staff sergeant in the Marine Corp at Camp Lejeune, NC. a volunteer fireman at St. Albans Fire Dept., loved music and played the guitar and violin. He was also an avid golfer. He was saved and baptized on April 2, 1950. Preceded in death by his parents Edward and Maude Greene and 7 of his siblings. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years Julia Shepard Greene and his children Yvonne Payne (John), Carol Briscoe (Steve) Janet Briscoe, Jeff Greene, Julie Sovine (Dan) and Linda Johnson (Tony), 10 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren, sister Reba Guehr (Herman), brother Dale (Laura) and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 9, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home with Chaplain Pete Thompson officiating. Visitation will be from 10 til 11 prior to the service. Burial will follow in Valley View Memorial Park. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Hospice House.
