Bonnie Lou Henson, 85, of Culloden passed away in her home on Saturday, March 31st, 2018. Bonnie was a Putnam County school teacher for 34 years, a member of the Grand Court of West Virginia Order of the Amaranth and White Shrine. She enjoyed reading books, watching sports, chatting with family & friends and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John & Mary Henson, sister Beulah Morgan, husband Meril Peak, and nephew Bill Woodyard. She is survived by sisters, Charlotte Burns Young (Gene), Susie Conway (Roy), brother-in-law Luther Morgan; nieces and nephews Robin Woodyard, Jeannie Davidson, Andy Burns (Kelli), Teresa Funk (Mike), Kelly Peters (Barry), Mike Stowers, Amy Rose (Keith), Mark Morgan (Michelle), Louis Morgan, Martha Cooper (Dennis); great-nieces & nephews, Josh, Ryan, Camille, Ashley, Lacy, Lindsey, Chelsea, Chris, Brandon, Brody, Kyle, Breanne, Nathan, Morgan, Rachel & Caleb; and great-great-nieces & nephews Kayleigh, Jaxon, Brylee, Brant, Max, Liam, Miles, Gabe, & Wyatt.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6-8 PM and funeral on Wednesday at 11 AM at Allen Funeral Home. Graveside to follow Valley View Cemetery.
