Junior Gay Bays, age 97, of Hamlin, WV,  joined his Heavenly Father on April 12, 2024. Junior was born in Putnam County, WV to the late Outher Elmer and Garnett Bays on February 26, 1927. Wanda Sue Searls Rice, 79, of Hurricane passed away on April 8, 2024, after a sudden illness. She was a graduate of Hurricane High School; she was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Cass Rice and parents Earl and Zula Searls and sister-in-law Rita Searls.
