Meeks family,
Just wanted to take a brief moment to express my sincere condolensces to each and everyone of you. To me, Art was a man of dignity and intergrity whom gave to our city and our county in an unprecedented way. His love for entertaining and his love for young people showed in his everyday living.
Continue dwelling on his wonderful memories and continue allowing his spirit to live through your heart shining brightly enabling you to extend yourself as he would want you too. Look for the signs of his peace in heaven i.e. wind through windchimes and brightly lit stars. You'll be comforted in knowing he is smiling down upon you.
I love each one of you and appreciate all that the Meeks family has and always will mean to our community and me personally.
May God carry you through.

To all the family, I am so sorry! He was always such a kind and loving man and he was a blessing to so many of us. The love he had in his heart for his children and grandchildren was so wonderful to see and I am personally glad to have known him. God bless you all and as so many of us will do, hold on to the wonderful memories of this great man!!!!!
